London Acupuncturist, Roisin Golding
Hello. I'm Roisin Golding B.AC MBAcC and I'd like to give you a warm welcome to Acupuncture Works.
My approach to acupuncture is simple. After many years of experience I have come to the conclusion that, by giving the body really simple signals with as few needles as possible, the body will reset itself to its own natural rhythms. The acupuncture that I practice is classical Chinese. The main theoretical assumptions are that we humans are impacted by such things as our emotions, by our external environment, by weather patterns and by the time of year. (Yes, those short dark days have a different effect on our body and mind than those long bright sunny days! Who’d have thought?)
So I am greatly privileged to work with many people to help get their energies flowing smoothly so that pain can be eased away and the hormonal cycles and other natural functions of the body can be regulated, according to the principles of Chinese medicine.
You might have a specific problem, or you might feel that your body needs balanced so that it can work as an integrated whole. Whichever the case, you are very welcome to just call me to have a chat about your needs.

I am a passionate believer that patients deserve the best acupuncture treatment. I believe that acupuncture training needs to be substantial and needs to include an in-depth study of the holistic concepts at the heart of Chinese medical theory in addition to western medical sciences. It was in line with this commitment that I wrote the textbook on acupuncture theory and practice, The Complete Stems and Branches: Time and Space in Traditional Medicine which you can buy on Amazon and elsewhere. However, please note that this book is written for advance students and acupuncture practitioners
